I don’t think people realize how Scoot becoming a merely above average player (or worse) is going to be a disaster for this rebuild unless we.can draft an All-NBA level talent this upcoming draft.

Seven turnovers, 4/16 fg, 1/6 from 3, only three assists in 30 minutes, AND he air balled a shot at FAN FEST. He may become a good player, but he wasn’t who we were told he was and he’s unlikely to become who we’d hope he would. And I hope I am wrong and y’all are roasting me at the end of the season.

Man, he’s just not playing smart.
You’d think Billups, who was a High IQ guard, would be telling Scoot to be more in control and smarter with his offense. He just looks like he’s entirely relying on his athleticism but it’s not elite enough to beat his defenders so he is just playing like a streetballer out there.
Needs someone to mentor him.
If he was more of a athletic Marcus Smart who sacrificed his scoring attempts for more defense and more play making, he could carve up a 15 year career.

My biggest WTF with tonight is was he just purposely trying to make these crazy ass all star game passes instead of running the offense. Then when he decided to try a d be the scorer… I was not impressed with his out of control moves. Man I sure hope there was was type of weird strategy going into the game that they quickly will say nah not going to work
