Wow…. Is it the camera angle, or does Dilly look an inch or two taller than Maxey??

If Dillingham can approach what Maxey brings to the table, it would be amazing. Its also asking a lot. Maxey is a very efficient player.

Funny. Maxey was actually my comp for him in the draft. I think Rob has better handles, Maxeys shot form is a lil cleaner, but speed is their shared asset.

I have 100% faith in TC’s drafting ability. Dude has struck gold numerous times, the fact that we traded up for Rob means he sees something. Calling him a 1 when he’s seemingly always been a 2, and then he actually comes in and drops 9 assists in 23 minutes? Bro looks legit, he looks fast, he looks shifty. I think it’ll be a home run pick to pair with Ant. Throw in Conley’s leadership and DDV’s shooting, amongst other things, and this might be the deepest backcourt in the nba, which was easily our position group with the least depth and it got exploited in the Mavs series. What a time to be a Timberwolves fan

Jesus, what size fucking shoe does Maxey wear?

The big thing with Rob is he’s gotta put on some weight. If he gets two seasons behind Mike and puts on 20-25 lbs I see him having great potential. But only if he figures some things out, it’s hard for smaller guards to become great players. So many lottery picks flame out, so he’s gotta keep improving all the time

Maxey came into the league a good 34 lbs heavier than Rob according to NBA Tankathon: 198lbs, 6’3″ vs 164 lbs, 6’2.25″. Also evident in the photo is Maxey’s wingspan advantage: 6’6″ vs 6’3″.

Who is also white small. Not as small though

It’s the defensive end where the question marks arise

Nobody is questioning height when they talk about size. Maxey was at least 190 lbs when he came to the league. Dillingham can’t be more than 170 lbs.

Do sports always like list weights way lower than they are? I’m 6ft 195lbs and I’m neither like fat or ripped really. It’s just weird to me dudes that are like 6’3″ and look pretty built only weighing 170lbs. NBA seems especially weird with weights like dudes I would expect to be like 240 or even more given they are like 6ft6 or even taller weighing in like right at 200lbs. NFL and even MLB seems to be more accurate with weights.

I have a good feeling about Rob. I don’t expect greatness at first, but I would not be surprised to see him start a game or two later in the season, pending injuries

I bet Rob picks up weight.

At 19, I was about 160 and naturally put on weight and I am now at 23 I’m now 180.
