Honestly not as bad as it’s been portrayed. Not good obviously, but a few of these are just off from being good plays. Plenty of poor decisions and things to clean up but not the dumpster fire people are making it out to be

But who am I to question the infinite wisdom of drafting 19 and 20 year olds who have never demonstrated an ability to lead a team to wins at the highest levels?

I didn’t mind most of these. My biggest issue is it seems that Scoots game hasn’t really progressed from last year. He’s taking and missing all of the same shots he did last year.
I’ll continue to wait and watch this season before I write him off though.

He’s really gonna benefit from having a secondary playmaker on the floor. That lineup *was not* ideal for him.

Honestly, the turnovers were bad, but what stuck out to me was his lack of game management.
He’d get down the floor, dribble a few times then hoist a three or dribble into traffic. No ball movement, no flow, didn’t really set anyone else up. Just loads of empty possessions and low percentage shots.
I know it’s one preseason game, but what was this guy up to all summer?
