As a Celtics fan I’ve been saying they’re going to dominate the west to the same degree we dominated the east last year.
60+ wins, 1 seed on lock by the end of the calendar year, and 50 point blowouts every month. The closest teams to them are the Mavs and Wolves. I don’t think Klay changes all that much for the mavs, and I think the wolves got worse by losing KAT. They are going to run away with that conference.
Meanwhile the east is gonna have 4 or 5 real contenders just like the west did last year. Boston, NY, Philly, Milwaukee, Indy imo.
My preason finals pick was Celtics over Thunder. I think the thunder don't have enough playoff experience to win it this year. That's probably more important in the NBA than any other sport. But I've been high on SGA for a while now. I think this year will be for them what 2021/22 was for the Celtics. A trip to the finals where they show their potential as a championship team but aren't quite there yet. They still use it as a growth opportunity and come back strong in years to come
