But because NY doesn’t have a legit 5 to start with Towns, they are forced to play KAT there. I would rather Karl Anthony Townes play power forward that’s why I want us to get a starting center. Definitely with you on this.
Listen. Stop saying Trade M Robinson. He is the one who helped them get past Cleveland, he is one who help them get past philly last year. He is Respected & Feared in the NBA. Bc he hot hurt he was putting up Dennis Rodman numbers. With him on the court Knicks are a Juggernaught. 2-3-4 chances on missed shots. No one can match that. U only need him for 20+play off games. The regular season is not that important. Winning in the playoffs is more important. They need Robinson for the playoffs not regular season.

THE KNICKS DOINT NEED MITCHELL ROBINSON ( BUT ) THEY DO NEED A CENTER FROM SOME PLACE. SO TOWNS CAN PLAY POWER FORWARD HIS NATURAL POSITION WHICH IS BETTER FOR TOWNS AND THE KNICKS

And to be honest, I would rather Josh Hart come off the bench, but I will say the defense is out of all-time high
A LOOK I WILL TAKE 25 POINTS AND 12 REBOUNDS EVERY NIGHT FROM TOWNS EVERY NIGHT. THAT IS WHAT THE KNICKS NEED FROM TOWNS EVERY SINGLE NIGHT IN ORDER FOR THE KNICKS TO COMPETE WITH THE BIG BOYS PERIOD
They won’t play much together unless there is a BIG lineup or a canter who is a beast. And even then KAT will take these dudes outside and let JB go to work!

Not gonna lie I want to see a fully healthy Mitch with OG and Bridges! The defense is already insane! Adding Mitch would be even better! Imagine holding most teams to 40 points at halftime! Plus Mitch needs to get his revenge on Embiid!

Ww just watched Ball and Pool run a layup line on Kat and Kat throwing up 20 shots in a half a game , we’re 1 and done possession , with a big man we could get some offensive rebounds move him back to 4 and start Hukporti our best center not hurt
Kat had his Meniscus removed and with Kat at center we are small with OG at 4 and Bridges at 3 , With Hukporti we are big at 4 positions
Kat can still pick and Roll from power forward and last time Kat was starting center Minnesota was 28 defending the rim , we just seen Ball and Pool Run a layup line with Kat at center and no layups with Hukporti on the floor
In 15 years we won 2 playoff series Mitch was the reason in both
Its better for towns to play center in any given lineup, however him playing pf gives optionality that almost no other team has, also gives him a break physically a bit
4, 5 it’s the same thing don’t get caught up with that Knicks playing Towns how he played in Minnesota he will be good
I disagree. Center is where Thibs will play him and where he makes the best impact. Mitch is a weak link with his lack of offense and free throw ability.

I'm willing to give Mitchell Robinson one last chance. Because I'm curious to see a defense with Mitch and those 2 wings, OG and Bridges.. on the court at the same time. 😨 😱
I think the knicks has to realize they are stuck with robinson he due back in jan and thats only one month to build his value up if he could be traded he would be gone. If kat wants the 4 the knicks has to get another big still cuz sims and the rookie arent proven.. mitch and kat could start then when mitch hits the bench kat mives to the 5 then when kat is tired put the back up big man in and just rotate that mitch shouldnt be playing big mintues no more.
Kat mitch jonas would be a good three head monster it makes alot of sense would allow kat to see time at the 4 and still at the 5
KAT is perfect at the 5, that's where he spreads the floor for us. Having nothing but shooters on the floor and forcing the opposition's 5 to guard him outside. That's why the T'wolves were even better in the playoffs when KAT played the 5 when Gobert sat. We'll have nothing but shooter's creating open lanes to drive to the bucket. This is also why OG should start at the 4. Brunson, Hart, Bridges, OG and KAT. This should be our primary lineup. If teams go big, then we can go big with Mitch or Precious for now. Against smaller lineups Duece can play the 2. End of story
