There are 2 different players I saw on those videos I don't think would have been on the court if Edey wasn't. Teams are putting lesser talented players to match up with him size wise; huge advantage for Memphis.

Grizzlies have some players trying to make the roster by scoring instead of making the right pass.
Laravia was looking for his own offense too much. If you can't beat your man off tge dribble, no mid range, then use screens or feed Edey.
Edey is what Yao Ming wished he could've been…already so dominant defensively
