Scheierman YOU are a Red Claws
so drew peterson is definitely making the team right?
And now unclench.
Pritchard MVP talks start early this year.
SCORING LEADER DREW PETERSON
2nd half was hairless cat ugly, but it was a no starter preseason game with that said. I’ll take the 4-0.
NGL it’s 3:30AM here and I almost fell asleep during that second half. Fun first half though
Lonnie and Drew Peterson are so much better than Springer. Baylor needs to hit the g league.
It was a lot closer in the end, great they didn’t lose their nerve and came up with the win.
Walsh looks so, so good and so much improved. I’m irrationally excited.
My hype is growing for Michael Jordan Walsh. He’s getting minutes this year I’m calling it
Lonnie and Pritchard a crazy 1-2 punch off the bench
Queta casually dropping a 15-rebound game makes me happy
As I said yesterday…..Jordan Walsh stock 📈📈📈
Walsh, Lonnie separated themselves.
Peterson could get some regular season garbage time (or whole games against the Wizards).
Springer stock is moving in the wrong direction.
Baylor ain’t ready. Needs time. Forcing everything.
Watson has some fun moments, can’t wait to see what he becomes after more time with our development team.
Last I saw we was up 30 what happened 😂
Arena was 80 percent full til the buzzer. Amazing
Did Jakob change how he spells his name? I swear it used to be Poeltl
🕯 🕯
🕯 🕯
Lonnie Walker
🕯 roster spot 🕯
prayer circle
🕯 🕯
🕯 🕯
Baylor got the yips 😭
They gotta send his ass to gleague n get him right
IVE BEEN HIGH ON DREW PETERSON FOR 2 seasons now. Can they finally reserve some floor time for him, please?
Drew Peterson is like that?
So… lonnie stay ?
Lonnie needs to stay instead of going down, he’s perfect bench player for this current Celtics team
Maine g league is gonna be lit again this year 🔥
Our bench > your team
I think out of the non rotation players, Jordan Walsh was the only one who made a push for rotation minutes. He was poised and in control on offense and was active and rebounded on defense.
Lonnie Walker made shots but again the reason he isn’t on a team is because he’s awful on defense and that was true tonight.
Queta again dominates when he has the physical advantage but is still always a step slow.
Springer just looks like he has no idea what his role is.
Scheierman does everything but make shots but until he does, he’ll be behind Walsh and in Maine.
Watson is the only one out of the rest who moves like NBA player.
Celtics got a decision to make with Lonnie Walker. However if they don’t keep him, he’s definitely done enough to earn minutes somewhere.
Can’t wait for this season to start
I just got home from the game. Highlights:
* Lonnie Walker looked great
* Jordan Walsh looked very good
* I only sort of knew existed Drew Peterson existed, but he was surprisingly good? Sort of a less good Tyler Herro. He was undrafted, the C’s picked him up last season
* Neemias Queta does not look ready to take the next step… He had numerous opportunities to lean in under the basket and finish strong and instead he seemed tentative
* Jaden Springer and JD Davison both looked uneven but promising, Springer a little more so
* Some players not ready for prime time: our first round draft pick Baylor Sheierman, Anton Watson (C’s 2nd round pick this year), Dmytro Skapintsev (undrafted, was on Knicks last year, used to play for Kyiv-Basket)
* Ron Harper’s son Ron Harper Jr. He’s on the preseason roster!? He was pretty shaky
* On the Raptors, Jamal Shead (45th pick this year) played well
* Scottie Barnes wasn’t very good — I feel like the expectations for his career have cratered 🙁
* I was on Jumbotron twice; the second time, I teamed up with an 11 year old kid who was dancing his butt off, and he got some Jumbotron time too
* When they did the t-shirt toss, a really tall guy leaned way back to try to catch a shirt and his row of folding chairs collapsed, and there was like a domino thing and several rows fell over, and IMO he did NOT do enough afterwards to check that everyone was alright and take care of them
* There are people who buy courtside seats, and then leave the game early? In the words of Rafael Nadal after being driven nuts by the antics of Nick Kyrgios, “We will see what happens at the end of life, no?
* I’m so excited for the season, the Celtics bench has Horford, Pritchard, Hauser, Walker, Kornet, Tillman, Walsh, and Peterson
Second half was ugly, but it hardly mattered at that point. We have a bench that can put up 69 points in the first half. LFG!
