[Gordon] Kerr noted Jonathan Kuminga’s improved 3-point shot. Made three more against the Pistons. Shooting without hesitation. Said Kerr: “The one thing we don’t want is guys to catch and hold.” Wants the ball to find the open man from deep like it did tonight.

And all of sudden, “Kuminga is not 3” doubters are no where to be found.

He’s shooting it with confidence. I gotta good feeling about this…if IM the defense , i wouldn’t sag off kuminga.

Hate to say it but being patient with JK might’ve been the right call

While what he says is true, the way playoff basketball is played today, you do need to hold the ball sometimes and create off the dribble. You sometimes need to control the pace. When defenses lock-in, those catch-attack-pass-pass possessions get harder and get you into high turnover territory. He made huge strides in creating off the dribble last year. This is a weapon going forward and he should keep development. But for chemistry reasons and for regular season games Kuminga’s willingness to let the game flow and letting it fly is a great sign.

Now I know why Tatum was benched.
