RIP Melo

My sweet baby girl Melo passed away last night at 15.

For context I wanted a dog forever and finally got one my 8th grade year. I have always been a huge Bugget fan and decided to name her Melo after Carmelo.

She was a very sweet girl that would play fetch until she collapsed. She would turn her head in curiosity so often. She would go in and outside as often as possible cause she knew she would get a treat everytime she came in. She would stay up for the late Nuggets game before going to bed with me. She was the best girl.

I know this isn’t the typical post here but I wanted to celebrate her life and just remind folks that life is too short and to hug and love those close to you.

You will be missed Princess.

I lost my dog a while back. I know the pain all too well. But my dog would have wanted me to be happy, so I keep moving forward. And I always remember that my dog lived to see the Denver Nuggets become world champions and celebrated with me.

    RIP Melo <3

Would you mind sharing the breed of the dog. I adopted a rescue that looks exactly like Melo and i keep seeing that breed all around the world in the photos but can’t determine the breed. The closest i can guess is cross between black lab and german shorthaired pointer, or it may be just be pure black lab but i’m not sure.

    Here is my Dasha,

    Sorry for your loss again.
