Gotta remember it's still a sensitive situation…just 2 1/2 weeks ago, players from both teams had NO IDEA they were getting traded. No trade talks, no trade rumors, both just finished sucessful seasons. Then boom: the trade goes down. Training camp just a few days afterward.
I personally think both teams FOs (front offices) handled it badly. Especially that close to the season. But they did what they had to do. They could've just informed the players beforehand to get an explanation. Then they had a preseason game?? Of course tempers gonna flare. Julius Randle had one with an assistant coach as well.

The Knicks basically traded Donte and Randle for Bridges and KAT. All NY really gave up for Bridges were draft picks. If you look at that way, NY definitely got a lot better.
