“When DLO’s making shots- it looks easy. But when he misses shots- it still looks easy, so people interpret it as he’s not trying. That is the furthest thing from the truth. To all those people out there who give him a bad rap- I guess you & me got problems.” – Austin Reaves on ESPN LA

Dont think anyone has a problem with his shot outside of being a bit streaky, its more so his cosplaying as a matador and letting every guard blow by him as he goes for a half assed reach around pick on defense

My problem with him is his defensive consistency. I don’t expect him to be great, just give consistent effort and that’s not always been the case. Everyone’s shot comes and goes, I always want him pulling though.

  3. The problem with D’lo is his game can be affected by his mood.

When he is on fire, he looks like a superstar but when he is struggling, he lets if affect his WHOLE game.

His defense is also not consistent. I’ve seen him play passable defense so I know he can do it.

His body language is horrible when his shot isn’t going in and he’s so bad at defense. That’s what bothers me

He plays no defense, he cannot slash for the life of him. His game lives and dies by his jumper if he misses a few he will either go cold or look disengaged.

Damn, didn’t expect Reeves to have beef with me today.

Bro has been in the league 10 years. We know who he at this point. And that’s a playoff choker

whatever your opinion on dlo is, this is great to see. teammates supporting and defending each other shows good chemistry and vibes

  9. I really don’t get why DLo didn’t bulk up throughout his career and tailor his game to be very physical since he’s already not quick. Imagine if he was able to use this wingspan and height to bully smaller guards. That mixed with his shooting and he’d be a really good player.

This not really the issue with DLo. It’s really the fact that he falls off a cliff on both ends every postseason lol.

Aside from better defensive engagement, I really hope he can find a better scoring balance this year. Put more pressure on the rim, finish through contact and get to the line more than once a game. Would help raise his offensive floor come playoff time.

How about when he puts his hands up in the air when the opposing player walks past him and then shouts “don’t foul”

All I can get from this is that Reaves will always be a great teammate.

He’s defending D’lo, he defended Westbrick back when he was here as well.

That being said, I still don’t think AR-D’lo is the ideal backcourt.

Too bad…I still need him off my team

Austin bro please cook this bum too- /u/blacpanther55

Dlo literally said in an interview that he’s a “game shooter” & doesn’t believe in putting up shots in practice…

Dlo avg 18/6 for the last 4 seasons on similar efficiency. The guy is a consistent roller coaster 🤣

That’s his best friend and someone he admires, he’s allowed to have his opinion.

What the front office think is business decisions, dlo stans gotta prepare for that reality at some point?
