When I found out they traded Donte with KAT trade, I was upset too. It's a tough business and it sucks. Leon Rose and Worldwide Wes is doing what is best to NYK franchise. They know Julius Randle is not the guy that's going to win us a championship and they had no choice to add Donte for KAT trade. Would I happy if we trade Julius, Mitchell, 1st and 2nd round, to get KAT, I'm good with that. Leon Rose and WW Wes thinking the bigger picture and that is getting NYK that championship to MSG. I love Donte, he has done so much last season, and here is what I challenge him. Give everything you got in MIN, win them a championship, prove them wrong, and tell them why it was a mistake to trade. I wish nothing but the best for Donte and Julius. It's like what Michael Corleone from Godfather said, " It's nothing personal, it's business".

Rick Brunson is old school 1990's tough. Donte don't want the smoke. But I think deep down when emotions settle, It comes down to Donte feeling hurt because he wanted to be part of something special with his Villanova crew.

Rick goes far back w Divo and he was a groomsman for Rick's son. Divo was yelling at Thibs – Rick told him to keep it professional, that's when Divo said alright. Rick didn't "run the show" on the KAT trade, does anyone believe that? Things can get more heated when you have history or longer relationship
Divo being sent away should sting if you're a fan, but the trade improved the team and was vital. Your 1A can't be expected to drop 40+ every playoff game to potentially win with a congested paint at 7=10ft when his signature move is finding high % mid range shots.
Donte is a dog, I’ll miss him dearly but I’ll take KAT and Bridges any day of the week and twice on Sunday
When Donte was standing close to Rick Brunson, Jalen had his arm around Donte until he attacked Jalen's Father. You saw Jalen remove his arm and walk closer to his Father.
Look at the expression on Jalen's face when Donte was yelling at his Father. I think Donte has a problem with Mikal but attacked the wrong guy. Sour Grapes? More than likely.
I did not think the incident was professional on Donte's part at all.
Exponentially better? Carrying a few big playoff games and solid role player D dog, willingness to go from the 1st option to 3rd option is sufficient… Bridges improves the team w.o doubt
When I saw we got KAT when the tree first happened and I was like oh OK. I was expecting this, but when it was announced that Donte was a part of the trade. I just felt a dark cloud over my head. Wonder when he’s a free agent again I hope he can come back but the way things are right now. I don’t know if he wants to come back now.

I think Bridges is hype up a little. He's a good player, but not what everybody's making him out to be. I don't see him as a great wing or defensive player either. I just don't see it but looking forward to him showing up!! Donte had a killer year and obviously it was no fluke. KAT is good addition, but time will tell about the cost. I would have went into the season needing a starting center and seeing what the team could do before making that trade. Can Shamet fill Donte's shoes… he's capable and we'll find out soon enough!!
We all knew DiVinenzo was mad about that. He wanted to be in the team and thought he deserved a starting position for a championship team. Knicks pulled the rugged from under him.
