I’d argue Mathurin is more critical but Walker taking a leap helps a ton. Already made the ECF without either contributing in the playoff run, with just Mathurin playing to his potential they can go all the way, Walker is a cherry on top this season

No shit. If Mathurin or Walker don’t reach all-star level then this group is simply never winning a chip.

Getting to about 6’10” would be good, if he got quicker laterally as well.

if even one player has a breakout season this year and Tyrese puts up pre-injury numbers, we’ll probably be a front runner for a championship.
Everyone except for Myles and TJ have a lot of growth potential and could end up being the X factor. My money is on Nembhard or Mathurin having that kind of season and getting us to the finals. Personally I don’t see Jarace being that guy yet. I hope to be wrong, as I enjoy watching him progress and I really want him to succeed. He is just so incredibly timid compared to everyone else on the team. That said, I do think he has looked a better this year than last, so it’s trending in the right direction.

The Pacers could reach new heights (Finals) without Jarace touching the court at all. I hope he does earn playing time, but he’s not nearly as important as at least 10 others on the team
