Donte just letting them know how stupid of a move it was to make that trade. Knicks doing everything they can to continue to lose in the first/second round. 😂 unreal. What did kat do in Minnesota? Kevin love was a 3x all star out of Minnesota before they traded him to cavs. Key difference, he went to play with lebron. ESPN and knicks fans (all one in the same) forgot about Kats meltdown in 2024 playoffs. He was terrible. You keep Randle, you keep donte. Freakin idiots. Don’t fix what ain’t broken I think is how it goes. Kind of reminds me of 2013/2014 pacers who were on a tear, arguably the best team in the league. And then they got greedy and traded their once upon a time franchise player (who had turned into a mentor for the young squad) danny granger for Evan Turner. Broke up the team chemistry. They thought they got a steal. So did the rest of the league. They were 41-11 up to the all star break which is when the trade happens.. They had 3 losses at home before February 20th. In the following 30 games, they go 15-15 post trade, they lost half of them. Finishing 56-26.. Even so, they still managed to get to the econ finals losing to Miami 4-2. What could have been. That’s going to be the knicks saying in 2026 when they watch donte as he continues to rise up.
Had Kyrie Irving engaged in such a heated exchange with his former coach, one wonders if the media's response would have been as dismissive, labeling it merely a "family dispute"? Please note the Knicks won.

Donte should’ve stayed professional. Randle rebuilt the Knicks and was there 5 years and was the star of the team till Jalen showed up, He kept it professional that night and in the Twolves interviews as well. If Randle did what Donte did, We would understand but Donte doing that was stupid. If it wasn’t for the Knicks injuries, Donte would’ve been a bench player and barely get minutes and remember you have your best friends on the Knicks and the last thing you want to do is create drama for the Knicks, especially for your Nova friends who had nothing to do with it and who already have to deal with the crazy harsh media in NY…
