Is there an official tally for how many dunks we had tonight?
LOB CITY JR
Dunn looked awesome defensively
KPJ looked like a solid backup guy tonight but still probably tries to do too much
Kai has exceeded my expectations
I think Kobe Brown is probably done. I don’t think he has a place in this rotation (like Bones) and probably doesn’t have much of a place in the league.
Athleticism is back. If we can find a consistent scoring option behind Kawhi and James, we will make some noise this year. Plus great to hear the fans chanting loud at partial capacity
Defensively this team will be elite. I am however concerned in terms of the shooting but that’s the trade off when you aren’t a high volume catch and shoot team and lose your best catch and shoot player (Norm’s volume is too low)

Also, if KPJ is going to get real run Bones opportunity is cooked. They play way to similiar on offense and KPJ has hit higher highs in this league before and has better physical measurements to be a neutral defender. And Dunn is just an elite defender in general so I don’t see a world where Bones gets minutes.
Kai jones needs that guaranteed contract fosho
i volunteer to be the president of the kai jones fan club
Rotations looked much more like a Game 1 rotation tonight, although KPJ might be suspended for a few. The team looks like what it was projected to be. I think the Intuit Crowd is going to like rooting for it a lot more than what we saw last year, even though it’ll be a lower seeded team.
Minor things: Alondes Williams absolutely deserves a 2-way somewhere in this league. Kai has a lot to learn but he’s better than Moses ever will be even now. Like the past few years, Amir probably finds a way to stick in the rotation.
Kai was practicing his 3pt shot at half time fyi 😀
Never doubt Kai Jones. I was excited when Clippers got him last season.
Shoutout to our fans for bringing the energy!
Before Kai got here, and even when he did get here, the few people who wanted him on the team got ridiculed to oblivion man.
I’m glad he’s stepping up in preseason, athleticism and rim protection was sorely lacking last season. It remains to be seen he keeps this up, but I’m rooting for the guy (and for KPJ and Bones too!)
Youth movement LFG!
mann needs to come off the bench. he still won’t shoot, not a good ball handler, and can’t throw an entry pass. the harden and ZU pick n roll won’t be as effective with mann and DJJ out there. DJJ at least is a willing shooter and lob threat.
If the Clips can play defense like what we saw today… be prepared for Lob City Jr. or Lob City 2.0. Lots of young athletic players n this team looks to pass more than last year

Sloppy but look forward to the youth! Kai Jones reminds me of dj but with a higher ceiling
20 freaking steals!
