Best Rocket tonight was Jalen. Settled in and took control in his minutes later on. Only one preseason game, but a good sign he is getting better at staying in control while using his speed to attack the basket and pressure the defense.
Reed’s shot didn’t fall later on, but it’s funny how we all talked about his 3, yet his midrange has been the best part of his shooting. And the passing, active defense and good hands, and polish as a rookie is great as well. Not really many Amen on-ball opportunities. Would like to see that more, but maybe Reed will be the main backup ballhandler. Too good to not get minutes.
Everyone gotta practice FTs. Maybe besides Sengun. Would be nice if he jumps from 70% to at least 80% on free throws this season. And he can draw fouls with what seems like a new rip through he did a bit on drives. Hopefully the FTs mean he could be, like, 1/3 on 3 3s per game through the whole season.
Again only one preseason game but Jabari has been mixed this preseason. Had one great pass to a cutting Cam and crashed the boards, but the shot was not on tonight.
Also I noticed Cam bringing the ball up in previous games in bench minutes. And he seemed like the central player in that garbage time stretch. Would be nice to see him develop and be more than just a play finisher on offense. And he can pass, just needs to not tunnel vision a lot of the time.
NOBODY LEAVES THE ARENA UNTIL EVERYONE MAKES 10 FTS IN A ROW
AM3N! IF ONLY THAT COULD BE COUNTED ON BECAUSE EVERYTHING ELSE IS AMAZING. HE’S SEEING THE GAME BEFORE IT HAPPENS.
REED GETTING HIS GAME LEGS. WAS DEFINITELY MORE AGGRESSIVE TONIGHT. REALLY THINK WE GOT ONE.
ALPI DOES THIS SHIT IN HIS SLEEP.
WHEN CAM HEADS RIGHT TOWARDS THE RIM I DON’T THINK THERE’S ANYONE IN THE NBA THAT CAN STOP HIM.
FRED COUNTING HIS OPTION MONEY ALREADY. THIS IS A DIFFERENT OFFENSE WHEN HE’S PLAYING.
BARI HAD HIS BEST GAME OF THE PRESEASON. MADE SOME NICE CONTRIBUTIONS AND GOT HIMSELF INVOLVED.
I LIKED THE FULL 5 MAN LINEUP SUBSTITUTIONS.
GET READY, TARI.
GAMECUBE. NINTENDO.

How do we keep drafting the best shooter in the draft and they can’t shoot the 3 lol. We are seriously cursed.
Whenever Jalen has a game where he’s the best player imma buy my girl a present from now on
Thank goodness Pelicans decided they don’t need a starting-caliber center.
Didn’t have a chance to watch. Do any of our guys show signs of being a franchise guy to build around? Superstars signs at all?
I get it’s the preseason and udoka wants to get different looks. But man he killed the team’s rhythm tonight. His biggest weakness has been mismanaging players, he cleaned it up a lot over last season. So I really don’t want to see it happening again this season.
Like…I don’t mean to be this guy but…what in the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck is with Jabari’s shot?
Am I crazy, or was that a big selling point of his in the pre-draft? In college his 3PT% was… .420 and in the pros so far it’s… .335
Why. Why God, why.
Scoring picked up this yr, defense looks improved as well. Shooting has potential.
Is our stadium cursed to kill three point shooting? Wasn’t Ryno magically terrible at Toyota Center?
If u want to compete with the future of the nba PLAY THROUGH JALEN
What is wrong with some of you guys?
We had a couple of our young guys miss some shots and some of you go straight to defcon 1 lol, just enjoy the win.
I really wish the players or the team or both had better strength and conditioning.
Green, Bari, and Amen are all twigs. Look at Tatum, JJJ, and so many others. They need to bulk up bad, and we are 4, 3, and two years in, and it’s still missing.
I’m convinced our free throw woes were entirely due to that one LOUD Pels fan. I don’t know if he could be heard on the broadcast, but I guarantee everyone in the arena heard him
Reed with 3 stocks again. Man’s a problem
