The Houston Rockets defeat the New Orleans Pelicans, 118-98. Jalen Green led the way with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the Rockets, while Alperen Sengun added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in the victory. Jordan Hawkins tallied 20 points and 3 3pt. FG for the Pelicans in the losing effort. The Rockets improve to 2-1 in the preseason, while the Pelicans fall to 1-2.

    Only thing that got better with todays players is shooting ,,,and only by a few percentage points! As far as creativity,different ways to score , defense , competition, has actually gotten worse ! Athleticism isn’t all that ,,nothing that makes me say wow ,, however back in the day I would say wow at least once or twice every game! I mean players are literally driving to the basket with zero resistance and hundreds of pick and pops ! The game is ruined as far as I can see!

    Reed Sheppard is the real deal. The situation of him and Van Vleet as their main pg moving forward is something the rockets gonna have to deal with at some point.
