Hell yea hes not, hes tall and plays hard he is gonna be so good in a couple years. We’re gonna see gradey getting that 20m/yr type money eventually
I miss Yahoo Sports Canada. The post-game interviews would be on Youtube by now.
His cutting is going to be huge playing with Barnes and his shooting is going to be amazing once the other starters get going. Him as a 4th option on that starting 5 is going to be fucking trouble if he is able to maintain some consistency.
Another thing about him is how many areas he is good at. Even if he didn’t hit a 3 this game he was still dangerous. Attacking the basket. Out running. Sneaky athletic, aggressive, and great finishing around the rim. He was very close to having more points too on stuff that just rimmed out.

gradeys passing ability, court vision and iq are super underrated.
His cutting is great but his touch around the rim is absolutely gorgeous..
We spent the last few years watching GTJ struggle to finish a layup but this man is catching lobs in traffic finishing.

Seriously though, i understand it’s asking a lot to be one of the best shooters of all time but that’s exactly who he needs to be modeling his game after. We’re not winning a title this year so just get your shots up in hopes of expediting his development.

One thing that’s for sure, he’s more than just a shooter. He has a good feel for where to be on offense. There is a need for guys like Gradey who can score efficiently without needing the ball on every team in the league.
People want Gradey to be some Kyle Korver type.

He’s been showing it since day 1 last year. His shot wasn’t falling for the first 42 games but if you watched him play you could see the potential. Glad he’s slowly improving
has sneaky athleticism
I think he will be integral to our closing lineups in tight games.
He has the perfect skill set to play off Scottie.
The increased strength has really helped with his balance and coordination which helps him finish around the basket. It’s also nice to see that he has touch which he demonstrated by the array of different finishes.
I really like his feel for the game. You can’t teach that
He’s always shown flashes but this was the first game where he’s really out it together. That middie is money
I wanted Podz, but Gradey was #2 at the time of our pick and while I would still take Podz EASILY the gap had narrowed significantly relative to the end of last year.
I’m so excited for this man’s future with us
I’m begging people to be patient, there is going to be 0-9 3PT games and there’s going to be games like tonight. He’s still really young, and his potential is really high!
