I've seen a lot of hype videos on YouTube about him but honestly I think he's a G league player at best. He can't shoot. In the preseason his FG% is something like 22%. That's atrocious. And you can say oh it's just the preseason he's getting accustomed to the NBA game but the same thing happened in the Olympics. In the Olympics where he played a lot of minutes against the best players in the world his FG% was 25%. If Lebron or Giannis adopted Yuki then he could make an NBA roster but anything short of that…. he ain't making it in the NBA.
A point guard who can't shoot as unacceptable in today's NBA where you have 7 footers who can drain the three. Ricky Rubio who was one of the worst shooting point guards of all time is a way better shooter than Yuki.
His height can be a disadvantage and an advantage as well. No other players can see what he can that low. Plus he is a naturally good with the ball and a skilled passer.
