that’s absolutely fair considering ochai was a 40% 3pt shooter on like 7 attempts a gam in college…i know shooting doesn’t always translate but maybe a break from over critiquing and analyzing a shot might be useful.
The shooting will come if he builds confidence and knows he can impact the game in other ways.
my thing with him is he seems to play with zero aggression. needs to play with more force
When it comes to 3 point shooting, you only want Ochai shooting from the corner 3. Everywhere else he shoots in the 20% range. He struggles with distance and any improvement is still likely to be an inefficent shot. It’s not a priority for Darko or the team because they know it is what it is and would rather maximize his strengths.
