Hellllll no. Have you seen yabusele play center this pre season? He’s gotten killed on the boards, at center he’s avg 1.3 boards at pf he’s avg 3, because his body is made to be a pf. He can handle other pfs keep up with them match there height there strength but he’s outmatched when it comes to center and we’re already small enough. I don’t trust bona either. I mean this is a Paul reed situation all over again. Everyone judged Paul on how he played at center when he WAS NEVER supposed to play center. He was a pf from hs to college to g league mvp not once did he need to play center than we jus chuck em in there. N u can say its positionless basketball n maybe it is from pg to pf but not for pf n c. Ull hear many centers and many pfs like embiid n vucie and richaun holms n bam adebyo speak on it. Going from being a pf to center takes YEARS to learn. N not just learn where to be when to set screens how to set screens who to set them for where to be when someone has the ball. U also need to gain muscle mass since u obv jus cant grown3-4 inches ur totally outmatched from the gate. I mean yabusele let that nobody center from Boston have a career day its not yabuseles fault hes a pf he shoots the ball n defends pfs n boxes those guys out not stays down low posts up sets screens n cuts n boxes out centers. Jus like Paul reed there is no difference Paul can shoot the 3 he jus never had the opportunities cuz he played center, and u wanna talk points, he was open on almost every pick n roll if we knew how to thrown oops cuz Paul constantly told his guys do what trea young n Clint Capella does ill screen n roll ull come down with me if the center covers u toss it up if not take the layup we never did it but if we did he’d have 10-12 points a game n it took em 2 years just to figure out where to be even embiid said if i was a pf n had to move to c even tho I have size it would take me a long time to get the feel for the position where to be where to go when to switch how to box out someone bigger or stronger or both even if i had to move to pf it would take me a long time to figure that out those two positions have nothing in common there entirely different. N that’s coming from a superstar when he talked about how we judged Paul reed to harshly cuz embiid knew how good of a POWER FORWARD reed was n was looking forward to playing with him more. In the 23 minutes together on the floor they were a +27 but cuz we didn’t have a backup center we had no choice but to use Paul or montrez both pfs never ever centers. N now Paul will show off his moves at pf wit Detroit cuz tobi seen what Paul can do at power in scrimmages n the East all around huge teams playing small is jus creating more competition for us we were kinda tall last year n still garbage at rebounding on both sides were super small this year n we promised to be a better rebounding team buttt u knew from the gate embiid wasn’t gonna be playing back to back games. Meaning u knew we needed a third center. All but 2 teams in the east besides us has a 3rd center n all of em r actual positioned at center. U can’t jus say oh hey dammit we don’t have a 3rd center but we do have a guy that won’t play a lot hey kj why don’t u play center buddy ahh but than we’ll be down a small forward hey maxey u mind playing some small forward maybe some power? Like no lol that’s not how it works a guy has a position that’s there position u can’t jus throw em wherever u like. We tried this for 5 consecutive years using a pf as a center n where did it get us. At the bottom of the board in rebounds n top of the board of allowing second chance points n we stilllll haven’t learned a thing

Cuz not only will yabusele have to box out someone 4 inches taller he’ll have to jump higher be stronger n box them out even tho they can reach over em like he’s a baby. BUTTT ur also asking him to protect the paint he doesn’t do that he guards one on one out on the perimeter or if someone tries to back em down. Nobody I mean nobody will be deterred from driving on us. Matter fact cuz yabusele doesn’t know how to play center he’s gonna play up on every center even if they can’t shoot leaving the paint wide open for idk Gianni’s for starters since we play them first n let’s be honest Drummond can rebound but he isn’t the best paint defender either. Nobody is gonna be scared to drive on us n our paint defense will be absolute garbage with Drummond n with yabusele but atleast Drummond will be in the paint protecting it, yabusele won’t be. I mean has anyone at all watched the preseason games. Ask urself how did he do at center? Did he hit some 3s sure absolutely did he make really good passes to cutters definitely, did he play or stand around the rim absolutely not when he guard luke kennard a non shooter where was yabusele? He was right on his hip out at the three line all that center from Boston had to do was give a quick cut n boom toss the ball up for him to catch cuz yabusele wasn’t playing back so he was beat, he’d loose his man almost every time trying to help guard someone on the corner so n easy toss up or bounce pass around em to the center standing next to the rim n it’s auto points

If reed stayed he woulda been the perfect pf for us he can hustle, run the floor which we’ll be doing alot, he can shoot even tho he didn’t have many chances to prove it, he can rebound on both ends incredibly well which woulda been great against the Knicks n bucks n Celtics but instead we get bona who is exactly like Paul reed in his rookie year except he’s an actual center who looks out of place n far to small to be playing center if anyone needs to switch n learn a new position it’s bona n he has a few years before we’ll ever need em so we better get on that quick. So now ask urself did you like Paul reed at center? He did okay but okay wasn’t nearly good enough n remember yabusele was playing against 2nd n 3rd stringers at center how will he fair against starting centers as his first time in his career playing center. We love putting ppl where they shouldn’t be n than bitch about the rebounding or the defense. Or both. Thinking oh training and practice n he’ll be okay oh really practice makes u grow a few inches shit I shoulda did that years ago . Can they catch up on weight sure but now u have a smaller guy with more weight which is less movement n moving slower jumping not as high. Paul reed had two years of on n off playing center. Yabusele never had to once. I mean if u wanna play small ball for a few mins sure throw em at center space the floor with his shooting n good passing but that’s all he can do. We will get destroyed in second chance points cuz no reed to get us o boards like last year n no reed with his hops to atleast stop the other team from getting EVERY o board yabusele isn’t athletic he isn’t a hustler. He’s skilled n big muscle wise not height wise so once again we’re gonna see the reproductions of playin huge teams like cle wit Allen n Mobley n Indy wit turner n Siakam n Orlando is jus all tall n Brooklyn wit Lopez who pulls the center out of the paint anyway leaving it wide open for Gianni’s which maybe yabusele with his muscle can contain but on Lopez he’ll jus shoot right over em not even realizing he’s there. Im so sick of being out rebounded being killed on box outs n hustle rebounds barring Paul reed n watching teams kill us on both sides of the boards n kill us on second chance points after it was already hard enough stopping them once n maybe id be okay with it a little bit if we tried by using an actual center to play center

N games when embiid plays no big deal but games embiid doesn’t we’re already playing small ball with Drummond than we’re jus goin even smaller atleast if we got a third center we can have Drummond n yabusele play together n help defend the paint help eachother make sure no o boards happen I mean the Knicks wit kat n og bridges hart all top end rebounders n us all super Low end rebounder besides embiid n Drummond. If we still had springer id say he can help in that department but we gave em to our rivals where hes doing really good. So absolutely not he cant play center
Sign a 3rd stringer cuz this is gonna be an all year thing where embiid wont play back to backs n may even miss a week or more if he gets hurt get one now while we still have options allow yabusele to shine at his natural position like we shoulda did for Paul reed

I think the person we really have to talk about is Oubre Jr he has to get better at shooting the three's from the corner! His shooting style is so wrong!
Start Caleb over Gordon but mix & match so Caleb plays with Lowry when Lowry comes in
– Yes Yabusele can be a Small Ball Center as well as a PF but sixers still should get 1 more center for extra depth either with the 15th spot or on a 2way Contract because Bona ain't ready at all
