That’s nuts. I think that’s something the WNBA is lacking is iconic plays to add to the legacy of the league. Growing up when I thought about the NBA I would think about Michael Jordan’s Shot or Dr. J’s reach around layup or Shaq’s backboard-breaking dunks. Maybe I’m just ignorant but I’m not aware of anything like that in the WNBA, or if there is, then it hasn’t been overly promoted or I haven’t seen it.
