I hope there's no minutes restriction this season for wemby…at this point it's hurt his development sitting on the shelf for looks…meanwhile his peers are lapping him

Even though the team looks like it's better than last year, I'm hoping to see clear evidence that Wemby is better. It's still very early, but I haven't seen it yet, and I'm not willing to make excuses.
It's comical how every time Wemby gets the ball, all 5 defenders cheat in. There was a play where Wemby beat Love off the high post, and the other 4 defenders left their man to rush into the paint. It consistently happened when he was on the floor. The times he managed to kick the ball out to an open man, they couldn't knock down the shot.
Hopefully, that doesn't stay the case through the regular season.
Zach Collins getting more time than Mamu is travesty Collins should only be used when there is a old school big on the floor😊
Also, Tre jones and Chris Paul in the back court together is horrible line up. Scoring struggles came quick

This game was terrible. Chemistry is terrible. Pop trying to play too many players. They don’t know what they’re doing out there. Very frustrating. Looks the same as last year so far. Sochan looked terrible
They need to stop screwing around and give Castle 30 minutes a night.
Free throws and turnovers are why they lost this game. Improve on that even a small bit and they win.
Can we talk about the 20+ turnovers? That’s what I learned for this game. Otherwise our guys did great

@CLANtheSPURSfan spurs are 3rd in cap space available right now. Yes they are negative but they could go much further into the red.
They are negative 9 mill. And there’s atleast 16 teams who are negative 40 million or more. 10 teams from negative 50 million to 100.
With the spurs owning like 25-30 pick rights through the next 5-7 years I think they should trade for an allstar level player at small forward. Get vassell back + add an allstar to this team and boom they are a legit good playoff squad. They have the picks and money to do this without losing all their picks even. They could still build through draft. Do you think this scenario could happen?
