  1. I knew people weren’t gunna like this one when I heard it in the interview 🤣 I’m from Chicago but yea D Rose tripping on this take.

  2. It was a blur cuz it happened so early and it should have been LeBron James's MVP…

On top of that he's been trash ever since

  3. MJ played in New York he'd be even bigger… Tf . Nobody care about Chicago Chicago just became relevant

  4. Rose tripping. People were wearing North Carolina Blue bc of MJ. MJ made the Bulls. 10 scoring titles, averaging 30.1 a game, DPOY and 2 three peats all look the same with any team.

  5. Be clear. Pooh wasnt talking about MJ when he said this. He is talking about the city. Chicago loves, adores, idolizes their sports heros for life. Thats what DRose was saying. Its special. We all know MJ and Derrick were destined for greatness but doing at the crib (for DRose specifically) is straight storybook movie type shit.

  6. He’s not talking about the organization he’s talking about the competitive nature of people in the city. People talk a lot of shit here even when you’re up, he means they helped make each other whole. If you from Chicago you understand if you’re not then don’t even comment.

  7. Nah he speaking facts Mj never won a chip without Scottie no Chicago no Scottie no telling how long it’s takes Mj to win that first ring

  8. I hope D.Rose see these comments because that Simeon High School Education Kicked in on this crazy insane MJ take the Bulls was a joke before Michael Jordan got there he acting like he don’t know his history in Chicago none of that made no sense what he said about MJ

  9. I understand what he means cause Allan Houston was my “Jordan” 🗽the way they was hyping him up

  10. That’s not true. Chicago bulls was a laughing stock and full of cocaine addicts when MJ got there. MJ single-handedly change the culture in Chicago

  11. Jordan made the Chicago Bulls a World Wide Celebrated Franchise.
I'm sick and tired of people trying to chip away at Jordan's Legacy.
I hated him for beating Magic and The Lakers.
And despite how i felt about him…
Jordan was levels above anyone else that I've ever seen play.

  12. Chicago wouldn’t be nun without MJ is what he should’ve said it would be another crime city just like the rest of the city’s with no global superstar to win them a chip

  13. Bro, The Bulls were on their way out the league playing in front of 3000 people before MJ came. He took them from dirt trash into one of the best dynasty in the league

  14. Another Anthony Edwards type comment. I’m a millennial and I gotta say we need to do better communicating our points. Club 520 let him slide you could hear it in the undertone

  15. This comment section is full of old heads with undiagnosed autism and I mean that in a bad way lmao yall mfs be so dense and simple minded lmao "OH that's a stupid opinion. What is Chicago sports without MJ" Like are yall that uneducated? Where do yall live? Lmao

  16. Bro the bulls were ass when Jordan got there. D ROSE!!! THE REASON WHY THE BASKETBALL CULTURE WAS SO STRONG IS BECAUSE OF WHAT JORDAN BUILT LOL…this guy trippin lol. There was not culture before MJ lol.

  17. I totally understood what rose was saying. Chicago was so shit of a team in 84, Jordan had that free range to score and dominate as much as he wanted, and like D rose said the culture influenced Jordan’s play too. Jordan would have been a great player on any team, but Chicago was the perfect team for him.

  18. Man the title of this clip alone I just stopped to comment …I don't know what done got into guys to just start disrespecting the GOAT these last yrs but MAN!!! It has to stop.

  19. Bears got one chip, Cubs and White Sox, Blackhawks the only team that won much. MJ carried Chicago on his back.

  20. You see the "Chicago" Bulls team now? This is what that team naturally looks like without Michael Jordan. This "Chicago" culture is just bullshit.

  21. He definitely not dissing MJ at all. He's saying that the culture in Chicago fed MJ's competiveness and determination to win. Imagine MJ in San Antonio or Milwaukee😮, does that sound like it would be the same? Only a few cities would've been similar. New York, LA, Seattle maybe, and Golden State (Oakland).

  22. This gone go over so many people heads lol . People think D Rose tryna shit on Mike and that’s not the case

  23. This guy really thinks that the culture in Chicago is what made MJ the type of player he was. Then why hasn't anyone else in Chicago become a legendary player since MJ. The only culture in Chicago was partying with Coke and alcohol. They didn't have a winning culture. Jordan took a broke down team of losers and made them into a serious contender as the only scorer on the team facing 5 defenders each night. The only thing out of Jordans control was the coaching and hiring Phil Jackson helped create a team culture. Once Jordan bought into Phil's philosophy. His hard work began to rub off on his teammates and Jordan pushed them because he knew what it was going to take to get to the top of the mountain. I know D Rose is trying to prop up the city because he is the only other guy since Jordan to be embraced as a star but he is delusional.
