Knicks Planning SURPRISING MOVE… | Knicks News
The New York Knicks must have 14 NBA players on their roster come opening night and are currently scrambling to sign players to fill the roster. NY had a plan in place that was shifted after Landry Shamet was injured. Shamet was a lock to make the team but after the injury reports are now indicating that NY is seeking to sign a veteran player in replacement of Shamet, depending on how long he’s out. The players that could work here for NY are Marcus Morris Sr and TJ Warren… Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

The Knicks need a spark off the bench. Someone who can score when the starters are resting. I believe T.J. Warren best fit to play along side Deuce and Payne for better bench depth. 👍
Morris been a Knick before, so he won't hesitate to play good. We need TJ experience also. We ok with both players
If shamet is just rehabbing that means the injury is not severe, he doesn't require surgery. So that is good news

I'm glad the Knicks will wait for Shamet's expected return before making any deal with other player, but I would like to see both Shamet and Warren joining the team. Not sure if there's room in the cap for both. Hope so.

Marcus Morris & TJ Warren being on the roster is a must. Mikal Bridges can play some shooting guard.
I do not want Marcus Morris Senior on this team. He is a jinx and I believe in those look at Chris Paul and what he did to the Warriors. Chris Paul will never win an NBA championship in his life.

I definitely agree plus, we would have a bench of Tyler Koleck / Cam Payne, Duece McBride, Dadiet/ Shamet, Achiewa at Power Forward and at Center Hukoporti and Mitchell Robinson when he returns in January or February

2. McCullar, no. Dadiet fills that spot
3. TJ Warren > Morris but TJ injury history a problem.
4. Matt Ryan was released by Pels a week ago, he shot 45% from 3 last season, 6’6, 27, and from NY. He is the perfect fit.
5. Get Shamet back after trade deadline after moves are made.
