The Minnesota Timberwolves rested their rotation players in the preseason finale, giving their young players — Josh Minott, Rob Dillingham, Terrence Shannon Jr., Jaylen Clark — an opportunity to shine. ESPN player rankings are a joke. They have Lebron James at 7 and Anthony Davis at 13. And yet again the Lakers will be fighting to get into the playoffs with 2 supposed top 13 players, and a decent supporting cast. Clown show…This league will be much better off when James retires.
interestingly, i think its clear now, Rob's scoring – which we tht wld transition better – needs cleaning up, while his playmaking is quite excellent. Think we cant expect him to be a good PG off the bat as a rookie. Come playoffs, I think Minott and Ingles are more plug n play, Donte will relief Conley at PG, Reid / Randle will switch abt w Gobert.
Once rob gets used to the physicality of the NBA his scoring efficiency will come. I love his play making off the back.
They never put respect on KAT name
Rob is likely the 9/10 man on the depth list. Then the rotation starts.
1) ANT 2) DiVincenzo 3) Conley 4) Randall 5) Rudy
6) McDaniels 7) NAZ 8) NAW 9) Ingles 10) Rob
The Wolves will be able to explode offensively with ANT and Conley having chemistry with DiVincenzo. They will create offense and scoring from the perimeter. Randall will make plays from the paint including maximizing Rudy.
The back court will be asked to continue scoring, but shut things down. McDaniels, NAZ, and NAW are better defenders than anything. Rob has defensive help as well as Ingles mentoring him.
TJ, Garza, and Minott are likely the next tier of the rotation. TJ is explosive who can do a mix of everything. Garza has been in the gym and it shows. If Garza can continue to execute then he'll give Ingles nights off. Minott is similar to TJ and has more experience, but his offense still has you wanting more.
Diop may be getting some minutes just to make the most of the KAT trade. Nix may get time too. So this means that Clark, Miller, etc will be in the G league.
The Wolves can win with a top-5 offense and a top-10 defense. It's all about having clutch offense. Our clutch performance should improve. Here's to a successful season!!

Jaylen clarke has great high impact defensive potential i want more development from him
