Getting drafted into the cluster fudge that is maple leaf sports was a career stifling arrangement for Scottie.

It always looks like Scottie is patient with his game. No matter defenses do, he stays composed and controlled. You rarely see that from young players. Idk if he'll be a superstar (yet), but I'll be damned if he isn't a multi-time All-Star.

Truth is raptors has there own local broadcasters (sportsnet and tsn). We have little to no nationally broadcast games in the states. So the big us broadcasters like espn and ABC have no incentive to promote the team or its players. In a year or two Scottie will be a top 20 player and all star. All the old guard of players who currently occupy top 20 that are in mid 30βs will be declining. Kawhi, lebron, butler, steph, durant, PG, kyrie and lillard. Than thereβs the guys in the top 30 with injury riddled careers that may not age gracefully like embid, AD, murray and even Zion.
