SNY NBA Insider Ian Begley reports that Knicks shooting guard Landry Shamet has a dislocated right shoulder and will be sidelined indefinitely. There is optimism however that Shamet will be able to avoid surgery and return to the team after his rehab period.

How are you going to bring in players to compete for a roster spot and if one player can no longer compete ,you still give them a roster spot over other healthy players? This sounds like favoritism to me.
