Most coaches didn't really focus on "Fundamentals" when I was coming up in the AAU Circuit in the 90s. They only cared about winning a silly game or tournament. Deep down i always knew something was wrong with this. The players today have so much more access to skill drills and other things to help improve their game. American coaches need to stop being so damn egotistical and focused on winning games and stocks more on teaching players how to develop a complete game.
