Knicks star Josh Hart recently made some shocking statements to the media after the Knicks lost their final preseason game against the Washington Wizards. Hart admitted to feeling lost with the starting unit, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Even more, Hart suggested that he should come off the bench and someone else should take his spot in the rotation. Tom Thibodeau has a major decision in front of him a few days before opening night against the reigning NBA Champions, the Boston Celtics. All this is quite strange for a 30 y.o. professional who's already seen everything or almost everything in his career. Has he forgotten how to throw the ball into the bucket or what? The same thing with Bridges – we gave up 6 1st rounders for him, so now is exactly the right time do adjust the jumper 3pt shot from 37% to 38%)))
I agree with this take. Hart should come off the bench and I'm glad he spoke up about it. I see Deuce being the Donte shooting that we need. Plus hes a better defender than Donte but he wasn't bad either. The problem becomes the bench scoring will suffer because Shamet is no longer with the team. Precious has shown he can can shoot better but he's injured now. I say start Deuce and maybe switch to Precious once his hammy is healthy. I think defensively OG or Precious would be better at PF. Primarily Precious because he has a little size on OG.
Brunson, Deuce, MB, OG, and KAT is a team full of gunmen! Hart can be the sixth man of the year
Deuce isn't a guaranteed to fit the starting line-up, deuce is effective in tje 2nd line-up because of the freedom he has in the 2nd and doesn't necessarily have to translate in the starting line-up as he obviously wouldn't have the same freedom or touches in the starting line-up but let see hw thos pans out, gotta keep in mind chemistry is developing ! Let's Go Knicks
Start Deuce he’s the best 2 way player to step in for Hart. I also really would love to see Kolek,Payne,Dadiet,Hart,and Precious off the bench. Why you might ask? I feel like Hart and Payne are both spark plug type players who like to push the pace so they would compliment each other well. I also feel like Hart and Precious complement each other because both are dirty work,Hustle play, push the break off rebound players who don’t need the ball to impact the game.
J.Hart will be fine he'll figure it out Mikal Bridges is having a hard time as well they will figure it out and when they do the Eastern conference is in trouble. Give him 4 or 5 games he and Bridges are veteran's they'll get refocused and pull it together.

Did anyone find it weird that deuce has been letting it fly like crazy? And Josh was not taking any? I know this is crazy but maybe the team wants deuce to start and they are engineering the looks and data to force thibs to see it.

This doesn't make any sense Josh hart just got to figure it out. Because at the end of Close games he's going to be out there with the starters because he's our best option. I understand he's not comfortable but he's a capable scorer he did really well in the playoffs when he got confident he looked unstoppable especially playing all those minutes 👏

Josh Hart can really play his game on the second team and be a great leader! McBride will fit in with the first team because he has a nice three-point shot.
My biggest fear is that we just got way too cute with trying to mix up the makeup of the team. I don’t recognize the team out there, but we shall see how it plays out.
