Honestly Bronny got the tools to be a decent player just needs time to develop maybe over the g league this season and also his defensive skills alone will be a big impact for teams.
With the amount of sheer basketball talent that players have nowadays, it honestly doesn’t really matter who you draft anymore if you’re not drafting for a franchise player. Decent role players are a dime a dozen but narratives that fill the seats are much harder to come by. The pick isn’t great for the game of basketball because of what it represents but it’s great pick for the business of basketball.

You should compare Bronny to other rookes. Jalen Hood-Schifino is in his 2nd yr w Lakers. This preseason he scored 27 pts in 6 games/Bronny scored 25. Jalen got 19 mpg to Bronny's 14 mpg. Last yr in preseason Jalen as a rookie avg 3.5 ppg in preseason and shot FG 17.9% (Bronny avg 4.2 & shot FG 24.32%).

Bronny will NEVER become anything like that cause he doesn't have fundamentals, doesn't have a solid handle, doesn't have a solid shooting stroke, doesn't have any sort of basketball IQ and he's a godawful defender… you don't magically become a basketball prodigy at age 20… if at 20 you're at the level of Bronny you will NEVER play any professional basketball, PERIOD… he's just the son of a billionaire so he buys his way into playing in the NBA
This kid would be a bad player in most low tier European professional leagues… not talking Euroleague, not even Eurocup (the tier below Euroleague)… I'm talking about leagues of low quality EU basketball like the Czech league or the Latvian league or some shit… he would barely be able to stand in the Greek league at a low tier team there and in Spain he would be out of the league mid season…
