I think our best configurations are Green and Ball, Miller, Bridges and Mark -> Mann, Curry, Martin, Grant and Richards -> Micic, NSJ, Tidjane, Taj, Diabate -> KJ. I do expect that Jeffries will hang around if only to be traded later and NSJ, Tidjane, KJ and Diabate to spend some time in the G league. I don't think Tidjane HAS to go there, mind you, but a game or two with 30 minutes could help his growth if he's not getting 15+ a night during the early regular season.
We can play a lot of interesting small lineups with the Curry, Martin and Mann options and we've beefed up the bench depth at the forward position, so I think we'll be a lot more durable, but I do have concerns about rebounding if Mark is out.
Right now, I'd say Lamelo will be an all-star, Brandon will be in the most improved convo. I expect him to average as much as 24 a game… and I know that sounds a bit crazy, but he's been doing it in the preseason with limited minutes.
miller has fastest mvp potential but melo could be all star this season.
Sam, I respectfully disagree. The Hornets are an Eastern Conference contender this year. They have the talent, and for the first time, they have the coaching and front office to manage the team and lead them to a victory.
I think we need to start the conversation about Micic throwing games. There is no way he is this bad. He was solid last year, solid in the Olympics, but now, all of a sudden he is trash. I think he is trying to force a trade to Denver Nuggets.

Tre has the second best handles on the team imo. Could he be our backup PG? Give him the ball with the second unit and let him go.
I think tre Mann will be the one to over perform. I believe he has the ability to be a 6th man of the year candidate. Especially if we use him like the heat used hero. Technically he was a 6th man, but he was finishing most games and played like 30mins a game lol. Hopefully tre Mann can do the same.
