My Rockets are in trouble unless they start trading young talent for more proven players or better priced players. You can’t extend two rookies to max deals that pay better without each other.

Rockets are not paying sengun to create max cap space next summer. EXACT same situation as when philly didnt pay maxey to create space for paul george.

If they don't pay him max his camp will negotiate under the table with other teams then play safe to be able to play with them 100% once he is free. Think about talent market not by his first few years.

Coach and player votes are weighed less than fan votes. Being an All Star isn't much of an indication of anything, except popularity

I think JG and Sengun both are worth the rookie max. However, I believe it’s smart for the Rockets to wait and maintain that cap flexibility next offseason. There’s no need to rush an extension right now. They’ll both eventually get paid.

I think with players coming out of Ignite and college at 19 it is VERY difficult to draft. Who a kid is at 19 going into college they are completely different when they graduate at 22. Jalen showed some signs late last year and looked really good in the preseason. I am happy with the deal he got.

Jalen Green is not a max player at all! It started with Zach Lavine. No more terrible contracts look at Kawhi Leonard. Start allowing players to fall and get what they deserve. Kawhi should get an incentive based contract. You play a full 82 you get a max contract for the season. You play half your get half of a max for the year. Watch how Kawhi finally wakes up!
What will the Rockets do? Sign both Jalen and Sengun to team friendly deals, so we can keep our together and still sign a star in free agency. Stone is a genius.

Sengun is a very talented and special player, if they design the team around him, it may be possible to get full Jokic efficiency from him. Max is definitely the right decision.

I don't like watching these homies. I think i know why. It's not because their opinions are bad, when in actuality, they have a lot of interesting points to offer, and it's definitely not because they do not have appeal, i think everyone can be packaged in a better light, but I think the root of the problem of this show is the fact that it is shot in proscenium, in the age of moving cameras, maximum multiple shots in a short, gimbals, drones, secret cameras, so how the hell is this shot terribly lazy? It almost feels like they are lazy.
Based on what Suggs, Murphy and Gordon just signed for, though i am not a rockets fan at all, i am scared silly for them. I am not at all a fan of Green. He is an inefficient chucker that cannot do anything but score. I personally would have traded at last seasons trade deadline.
Jalen always goes off in the 2nd half of the season. If he can do that for most of the season this time, dominate on offense AND defense like he did during that stretch as well as putting the team on his back and getting wins with 3 key players injured even no all star team I say he deserves it. Bc of him rockets almost made play in as well.
