  1. Cam Johnson reminded everyone what he can do offensively and the big thing for him this season is he needs to stay healthy while building his trade value up and as long as that happens the best case outcome for Brooklyn would be trading Johnson for 2 protected first round draft picks which would be a great little haul for Brooklyn in adding more draft capital to their chest of assets 😁….

  2. If we do trade CJ and DFS.. What could a clean sweep 2.0 scenario look like this off-season?

  3. Cam Johnson has never come close in his entire career to playing a full season of basketball so no way Mark should wait to the deadline to trade him if he is playing well because this dude gets hurt a lot

  4. I think Doug and Adam are not discussing the important question when it comes to Ben Simmons. It’s not about whether you should buy him out. Doug is correct. Why would he accept a buyout that’s stupid at this point. The issue really is should the nets simply waive him or tell him to go home like Houston did with John Wall. That’s the debate not a buyout.

Another thing people should know is that a large chunk of Ben’s Salary for this season has already paid paid out. I believe like quarter of the 40 million is due to him Oct 1’s. So good amount of it has already been paid to Ben.

The question again is should he be told to go home ala John Wall when they weren’t going to to play him. The answer is YES. There is no reason for Ben to be taking one minute of basketball time from anyone. He is not a tradable asset. He is a sunk cost. The only reason Ben and his agent want to play is because he wants a new contract. This shouldn’t have the nets priority at all.
