HE is the X Factor this year. If they feed him, he gets 22-23 ppg and they become damn near unbeatable. If they (Malone) bury him in the corner again, they lose to OKC or the Wolves. Again….
PREDICTION: MPJ averages 22 ppg and has at 10-Assist game!
I am certain he scores 21 ppg this year. He’s getting to the rim so much better now. His body isn’t falling apart. He will get more minutes putting up shots with the bench and taking some of KCPs threes on offense. I could even convince myself he’s getting 23 ppg.
Yeah I think he'll have a really good regular season. But his problem is his shot vanishes the higher the stakes get. So he'll shoot the lights out against a cake walk Lakers team, but then go AWOL against the Wolves or the finals when they really need him. To his credit he has found other ways to contributes, and he'll provide spacing whether he's hitting his shots or not, but he so far he's consistently came up short when they needed him most. I really hope he can shake that narrative.

He will be great in regular season, disappear in post season when it’s about WINNING and less about stats. Same story
Its seems to me ,that this is the year of the awakening of the MPJ. He begins to understand how deep and wide the ocean is,and what he needs to successfully swim in it. Whether he will swim or sink in this team,we will see this year and the next.
IMO the Jokic – Gordan chemistry is too good to put Porter on the 4 alongside Jokic for a lot of minutes.
