  1. It'd be really funny if he's asking for an inflated price as a way to get back to the thunder as a free agent because all his friends are here and OKC effectively gives up nothing for Caruso

  2. I wish giddey the best he's definitely a promising young player last season the off the court issues might have gotten to I hope he improves this season

  3. The only time Okc MIGHT miss Giddey is if Shai needs to miss considerable time. And some of his rebounding should iHart miss games such as the beginning of the season. Coaching will need to take care of that. Otherwise Caruso is an upgrade on both sides of the ball in his role. A considerable one. He's not a volume scorer but neither was Giddey last season and Okc finished with 57 wins. Caruso and iHart combined…as well as others stepping up this year…will easily account for Giddey's 12.9ppg last season. Might be a rocky start due to losing iHart's size presence for the first month or so but the team should come through fine if no other significant losses arise.

  4. Alperen Sengun just signed a 37 mill a year for 5 years contract. Jalen Suggs just signed a 30mill a year for 5 years contract. Jalen Johnson just signed a 30 mill a year for 5 years contract. Trey Murphy just signed a 30 mill a year contract for 4 years and Aaron Gordon signed a 34 mill a year for 4 years contract. You just haven’t kept up with the increase of new NBA contracts even for 2nd 3rd option players especially young players with potential and nba experience. Just wait until you see how ridiculously high Chet and J Dubs contracts will be. To think 30 mill a year is an absurd amount a year for Giddey is just completely wrong it’s just contract prices have increased dramatically. Even role and bench players getting in between 5- 20 mill a year. That’s just how the NBA is changing with player’s contracts

  5. Plenty of comparable players have gotten 30 mil or more so this is a really dumb take bro. As we saw before with OKC trading Harden over what ended up being about 2 million sometimes you have to just pony up the money if you're going to win championships and that's just how it is. OKC might very well have lost their chance to win a title by getting rid of Giddey. They broke up the chemistry of a team that just had an incredible season going 57-25 and finishing 1st in the west. That's about as stupid as it gets.

  6. Yall are missing the point. The reason I think it’s absurd is the fact he would ask that much with OKC as well. You guys are missing the point.

  7. I think giddy is worth it just wasn't on the thunder. He was crazy good when shai was out the the thigh injury but the Thunder don't need him. He is a ball dominant player who can't produce without the ball in his hands a lot that wasn't a good fit for the thunder

  8. know what it is right people are so fixated on the fact that scoring points outweighs people that can stop people from getting points and you can really tell the people who are the casual fan of the game because you need somebody stop the other team scoring no matter how many points you put up it doesn’t matter so I get what you’re saying, bro. people always look at the offense and never the defense. We legit have three top 15 defensive players now and Caruso can score

  9. If he was told he was starting in okc he probably would have taken less money to stay on a good team who he enjoyed paying with. He is on the bulls with seemingly a dull future so might as well get his bag. Well never really know what could have been
