I think Kevin has earned that right, despite a bad season last year. Mike messed a little with his confidence last year. Let’s give Huerter a chance, if he is not performing by December-January, then try something different.

People are quick to pass on Huerter. Even Cornball King Matt George. Out of all the issues of last season. Huerter was the least of my concerns. No one played defense last year and as a team they did not defend well
I think this is a huge mistake. With the four guys we have, Keon fits so much better. Not to mention how our defense got so much better the last part of the season.

Yes as a starter. You always want your shooter shooting. No as a closer. Keon or monk will close
A bench role for Kevin would be a better way for him to get his offensive mojo back while not exposing him defensively against the opposing team’s best players. Starting him is a mistake.
Kevin spoke of this earlier this summer about last year. He said last year he trained inappropriately for what he interpreted his roll was and it affected his play. This year he said he trained for his all around game, and should be more like his first year here. I believe he’ll be fine.

With Heurter in the starting lineup, the Kings will frequently fall behind after the 1st quarter! The starting lineup needs MORE DEFENSE, not less!

Anyone who knows basketball, is aware that shooting comes and goes and you can hang your hat on defense. D can be consistent, offense, not so much! Do we really want to start games inconsistently???????????????
