  3. Notice most of these CJ clips are first half and most of the BI clips are second half. This isn’t coincidence. CJ McCollum consistently shrinks under pressure, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, he is statistically the worst playoff performer of all time with 50 or more games played. CJ does not close games. Either they pay both CJ and BI and pay luxury, very unlikely, trade CJ and pay BI, or the pelicans simply don’t care about winning as a team.

What’s the biggest hole in the current roster construction? Size. And it’s BI they want to get rid of over CJ? Someone who is a plus defender, over 6’7” with a 7’3” wingspan, who has LESS value on the trade market, just to keep… anti clutch McCollum? Notorious playoff choker CJ? A small, minus defender? He’s a sixth man. He is not a closer, he is not a championship player. Brandon Ingram is. His poor playoff performance last year frequently gets over criticized considering he was coming off a 2 month long injury absence. You can’t realistically except him to be the guy in that situation especially if CJ is going to disappear as well.

Pay BI, pay both, or become worse.

  4. I didn’t get the change to watch the game can someone tell me who was handling the ball more generally? Please done say Cj
