Hang on. These professionals covering the Celtics all year long couldn't see the difference in Tatum's shot? How he's not bringing the ball all the way to his waist and back up with every shot? The quicker release? The absence of the hitch he had as he'd bring the ball up from his waist? He has CLEARLY come back with a new shot. Let's just hope he keeps it up.

Hiis shot is different. He's "flicking" it with his wrist more, using less of his body in the shot – it's a quicker shot that way, too.

I don't understand how these media heads, including some former players, can say Tatum's shot isn't any different mechanically. The past two seasons he looked like he was doing the worm and now he finally looks like he's shooting a basketball again.
i have always been saying since JT took more muscle to play power forward his shot is off! he should have kept his body size and remain in the small forward/guard position. but let's see JT seems to be doing good on his shot but it is only one game, too early to say anything! but i will try to be positive for him special for my C-team.
