“The NBA has begun an investigation into the Philadelphia 76ers surrounding the player participation of All-NBA center Joel Embiid, league officials told ESPN. Embiid didn’t play in the preseason for what the team called left knee injury management, nor in Wednesday’s season-opening 124-109 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. He will miss two more games this week — Friday against the Toronto Raptors and Sunday against the Indiana Pacers. It’s typical for the NBA to review a team anytime a superstar player misses a nationally televised game, as per the player participation policy.”

I don’t agree with Chase at all with this Embiid topic. You can’t prevent injuries. It’s either going to happen or not. Your best bet is to sit Joel for 82 games and then let him play if we make the playoffs. I don’t fault the league at all.
Embiid had over two months to ramp up there's no reason to miss the season opener,the NBA better nail us.
It's the first game. No need to lean one way or the other just yet but c'mon people. We've seen the Embid 76ers for years now. Any team with Embid will never win because Embid will never play an entire season.
The major pieces of this team will never be healthy enough to play in the playoffs. They put together major pieces that are always hurt.

Nahh..it ain't just the NBA..the franchise been playing us for years,let that man play in the Olympics and come with some unexplained injuries and expect a pity party..and to top it off expect a new arena..it's them not us

Hell Chase, Didn't Brook Lopez get more free throws than Maxy? I was watching the game and thinking it was rigged against the 6ers. The Association has hated Philly since Iverson and especially since the Process.
I mean what do you expect from the guy who forced hinkie out of town cause his strategy, while effective, was bad for business and then proceeded to get colangelo hired in his stead…one of the dumbest front office people in recent basketball history and he threw most of it away and actively hated the fans of the team through his burner
