Grizzlies Get First Dub at Jazz, Edey Debut, Ja Morant Reminds ‘Em | Chris Vernon Show

Grizzlies win their season opener in Utah. We’ll go through all of it including the Good (Ja, Desmond Bane, Santi Aldama, Jay Huff, Pippen’s Defense) and the Meh (Edey, Marcus Smart, Brandon Clarke) and which of all of that is an overreaction or possibly something to monitor. (3:00)

Thoughts on the rest of the 10 games in the NBA from last night including Pacers/Pistons and the injury to James Wiseman, Hornets/Rockets and if LaMelo is gonna have a revenge season, and Magic/Heat where Paolo Banchero might be establishing himself as a Top 10 player in the league (1:06:16)

  1. Fellas, let's not forget that the reason the game became close is the refs…..the jazz almost shot free throws on every possession, and that kept day out of the game. Also the grizzles have not played together for real yet. The home opener will be a completely different story.
