For Los Angeles, Anthony Davis led the way with 35 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 blocks while aided by Austin Reaves (26 points (5 3PM), 4 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals) and Lebron James (21 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists) in the victory. Kevin Durant finished with 30 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists while Devin Booker has tallied 23 points (4 3PM) and 4 assists for Phoenix in the losing effort. The Lakers improve to 2-0 on the season, while the Suns fall to 1-1.
With 35 PTS tonight, Anthony Davis becomes the first Laker to record 30+ PTS in back-to-back games to start the season since Kobe Bryant in 2005.
First time since 2010-11, that the Lakers start season 2-0.
