What’s wrong with Tyrese Haliburton? Indiana Pacers star goes scoreless in loss to New York Knicks

Alex Golden and Facci recap the Pacers brutal loss to the New York Knicks. They spend the majority of this conversation discuss what’s wrong with Tyrese Haliburton and share their thoughts on his struggles. In addition to that, they highlight the players who did play well (Bennedict Mathurin, Jarace Walker), the physicality New York played with and ponder what is going on with Rick Carlisle’s rotations.

  1. Nembhard garbage 2 pts, Nesmith garbage 4 pts, Haliburton armpit 0 pts.. McConnell getting 16 minutes is a FARCE!! Freeman can't be the 3rd string center because he's 6'7" not happening, he was getting owned tonight in his short 10 minutes on the court with Knicks backup players. Pacers first 7 of 11 games on the road and playing like garbage started in the first half of the Pistons game. Writing is on the wall, running this team back was very wrong. Jalen Smith was a big loss but that's not the problem, Nembhard, Nesmith & Haliburton were toilet-seat splatter

  2. Rick should have kept the bench in at the start of the 2nd. Hali needs to stop being an actor and be a basketball player

  3. Pacers are not getting it to the right players at the right time. I see Nesmith kind of languishing out there waiting for the ball and when it finally gets to him its a really obvious moment. Also too many cooks. The moment Haliburton starts to flag he should be out and McConnell running point,, rather than staying in the longest. Sheppard should have a major role on the team. Math is such a good strategic asset to have and if he can accept that role this year, the Pacers have a chance. He can lead the team when he's out there, but only in five minute stretches, Hasn't yet put it all together. Hali has to get back to the joy of creative passing. His heart's not in it yet. He should talk with Kelsey, if he can manage the fame game and prosaic reality on the floor with T. every night, anyone can. Man I feel shook though. Brunson reserved his most vicious put down for Double A. Revenge game deluxe.

  4. If we lose the home opener with the same stumbles and lack of heart. Then I'm ready to see Haliburton, Matheron, Walker, Siakam, and Turner. If the starting line up isnt meshing.. lets go ahead and make the move to the future. Roll the dice.

  5. Taking the ball out of Tyrese hands has made our offense average … our best player is a nice guy and to passive

  6. Tyrese is not an alpha Myles is not an alpha Pascal is a half of an alpha Ben is the only Alpha on the team

  7. It’s obvious most is on Rick changing the offense taking the ball out of Tyrese hands he needs to initiate offense

  8. Bragging about game 7 like the pacers didn’t play the hospital Knicks without KAT, OG, Mikal😂 such a pathetic fan base. The new 2021 hawks

  9. You know while watching this game I was reminded of how inconsistent this team can be and when they lose they lose BIG for some reason. I remember this being a problem last season too. I love my Pacers but wow I needed a Xanax after watching that game 😂…. You guys are right the starting unit just hasn’t looked good, it was noticeable in preseason which is why I didn’t understand why Rick didn’t let them play more and get in rhythm. Hoping they’ll figure it out 🤞🏽

  10. I agree with Alex thanks for holding Tyrese accountable… because he is soft and passive to many times
