Says it all that they specifically mention ‘a nationally televised game’, the networks (and their employees in the seats here) don’t care about ‘the fans’. They care about their ratings. It’s not some moral crusade to look out for the fans in the building, it’s a corporation complaining the workers can currently manage their careers to some extent.

If his knees get inflamed after a game it makes perfect sense to say he can't play again the next day. It's ridiculous that back to backs even exist. If you can play your sport on back to back days then how hard are you even playing anyway? There's no way football (soccer) players could play two games in two days so if B-ball players can they must not be exerting themselves much
