It's the beginning of the season and there's a bunch of new players however you gotta win these games esp with Embiid load managing. Toronto is purposely tanking…
And why not play Jared McCain?
If you had no intentions of playing him then why not trade the draft pick on draft night? I get it… you don't play him against The Celtics or Knicks but this was against The Toronto Raptors. He could have played valuable minutes. Unreal.

The NBA decided these first two games by having Scott Foster and Tony Brothers as the crew chiefs. If you know ANYTHING about the NBA, you know what the NBA intends when those two are reffing a game.
NOTHING NEW. Toronto has always out-rebounded & out-muscled the Sixers down low driving in the paint for easy 2-pointers. I'm talking FOR SEVERAL YEARS. Even with Joel in the line-up because he likes to play at the top of the key more than down low protecting the net. Sixers try to counter that by chucking up 3-point attempt bricks. The result – one & done fast break lay-ups & dunks coming back the other way by Toronto. Gonna be another bad year, 2 of the 3 stars hurt already to start the season & a bench of old slow-legged has-been journeymen.

Philly better get used to this because George and Embiid will be taking off a lllllloooooootttttt of load management. Two chronic absentia players.
They just don’t look like a good core regardless of Embiid and George out. The offense looks stagnant. A lot of standing around to watch Maxey do an Allen iverson impression where he’s shooting worse than a poorly shooting Iverson. And the occasional standing to watch Obrue clear the lane from the wing to drive. BTW Toronto put two of its three best players last night as well outside of Scottie Barnes.
Sixers need to get rid of Embiid for anything….just get rid of him.
Only Good thing I Can take from this Loss is The Great Coaching from Nurse he tried Everything .
