LeBron James notches his 11th 30 PT triple double as a Laker, passing Elgin Baylor for 2nd most in Lakers franchise history. He now trails only Magic Johnson (30 such games)

Los Angeles Lakers defeats Sacramento Kings, 131-127. For Los Angeles, Lebron James recorded his 113th career triple-double and led the way with 32 points (4 3PM), 14 rebounds, and 10 assists while Anthony Davis (31 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists), Rui Hachimura (18 points, 9 rebounds), and Austin Reaves (16 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists) combined for 65 points the victory. Domantas Sabonis finished with 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists while Deโ€™Aaron Fox tallied 28 points (3 3PM), 5 rebounds, and 10 assists for Sacramento. The Lakers improve to 3-0 on the season, while the Kings fall to 0-2.

    Why Lebron can still perform at this high level for such a long time? It is because of his playmaking ability. He rarely forces any shot which avoids taking a toast on his body. I have seen many nights where he can get 30s without even breaking a sweat. I would ask people here if you are the GM and the owner says I can afford only one superstar, but I want the team can go as far as it can in the playoff. Who do you pick? MJ or Lebron. Who do you trust to take a bunch of mediocre players to the conference final or even final?

    As someone whose has seen MJ & Bron live 51/53x respectfully (pops season tickets for Pacers since 87 Reggieโ€™s rookie year center court row 9/11/13 momโ€™s cousins in Chicago where she grew up similar seats since 84 MJโ€™s rookie year) theyโ€™re BOTH God tier alien athletes and my Co GOAT! BOTH Mount Rushmore athletes!

    86-95 Hakeem, 84-88 Bird, & 2021-2025 Jokic my 3 other favorite best all around players (obviously love Reggie and every Pacers player).

    Big laker fan but…lbj and ad scoring 50% of the points and just getting over the line isn't great. Just need a little more from the others.
    Having said that….the kings always give LA trouble no matter what! I think it was clean sweep last year
