was gonna save this for tomorrow’s work drive but just can’t wait

When the Warriors were raining 3's during their run they were the NBA Golden Boys. When the Celtics perfect it, here comes the hate. Fans, including media, have had enough of Boston winning. It's freaking hilarious. 🤣
Let’s go!!!
Bet the bucks are kicking themselves that they let go of Jrue 😂
Derrick's swats at the rim are a joy to watch. #1 shot blocking guard!
Haa not Tomye aka Teezzy. 😅😅😅
keep us up on who has the NBA belt when we lose it
Well FAKERS HIRE A COACH WHO LIKES MAZULA BALL Offense
I mean the game tmr is one that I would normally have fears about. But I could really care less, I could care less till the playoffs tbh. We are missing out third best player and win or lose will put up a solid performance. No KP in this game is going to be deadly tho…
The edge is off, yes, but as you've said, this is a game they'd have probably lost 2-3 years ago.
I think the Lonnie Walker situation is a confluence of things, but a couple are obvious: the CBA and the time for expansion is nigh. But there are at least 4 or 5 other, little things–some of them unique to the player/moment–that are contributing here.
I said this on another pod, but I'll say again: the entire "three" nonsense is by two demographics: 1) old-timers who still can't believe it's not 1994, and 2) people who STILL don't understand/believe that an open three is really a higher % shot than, say, a contested layup. They don't understand that in the Knicks game, the Celtics had TWENTY open 3pt shots. And that an NBA player hits those shots like you or I shoot from the BLOCK. People who don't understand the game think 3s are inherently a "streak" or "luck" shot–more than closer shots. And they AREN'T. So long as the players taking those shots are, y'know, actually good shooters, there really is no difference in those things. People aren't always smart, however. And that includes some "experts."
The Knicks game as example was GREAT basketball. PERFECT execution, lots of passing and movement. THAT is "ruining" the game? 40 years ago, I heard old timers bitch that TOO MUCH DUNKING was ruining the game.
Well, as the Celtics march on and accumulate The Hate, I remember the '04 Red Sox and Patriots… and the inevitable Next Step: media find a way to discredit the C's. I don't mean "they played nobody." I mean "the C's are underhanded/cheat." Then I remember that Brad Stevens runs this team, and I sleep like a baby. Have at it, National Haters.
I enjoy the pod, but it took almost 4 minutes in before you actually talked about the celtics 😔
John praising Brown for a DWhite typical play…say it loud
Keep an eye on Tatum and DWhite. They’re up to something.
I think the Celtics can be a dynasty no matter what happens later on. JT is every bit as good as the other stars but is forced to share on this current team. JB is capable of averaging JT’s current stats if he were given the opportunity. So in the future just based on that we would have the equivalent of a Jokic/Luka (JT) and JT (JB) on our team stats-wise. Logically, you would keep White with that team as well. You can positively win a chip with those 3. We do not know what D. White could become if he were given more responsibilities either. I’m taking the prime of those 3 over the prime of Steph, Klay, and Draymond due to their ability of playing on both sides of the ball and being somewhat interchangeable on both sides.
Bald Derrick White is built different 😜
TomYaye LFG!!!
John is right about Derrick White. Have a great year…Celtics – John & westerholm
I politely disagree about it's not a 'Big Deal'. It is. Let's be honest, The C's were fortunate to win the game against The Pistons and Mazzulla not playing any of the bench guys and the starters playing way too many minutes(and Kornet playing terribly), was very concerning. This game cried out for both a Lonnie Walker and Neemias Queta off the bench!
Re Lonnie Walker. Seems obvious there is a major off court issue. Wish the guy the best
想知道这款发热如何呢 无线磁吸充和吸着用有线充 会不会很烫手那种 越看越心动了
As long as the Cs remember to play defense a bit more often they are looking better than last year. They always struggle focusing on D when they are hot 🥵 🏀🍀
The Han Solo is peak JK. Love your show.
The problem eLonnie is, he is better than Bronny and so they have protect the narrative…!!!😂
I’m 37 and no longer having Mike call the game is tough. Enjoy retirement buddy and thanks for the many years
