  2. Last year's rebounding woes still haunting the pacers in this start of the season. The pacers need to realize that DEFENSE and REBOUNDING win games and not how many points you score. Given the pacers can't defend well okay. But REBOUNDING is a MUST and a fundamental in basketball.

The pacers should balance their energy in getting the rebounds and scoring.

  3. They are getting what they deserve. Too much patting yourself on the back, not enough serious evaluation of the team and what they needed to improve. And they clearly havent. Here we are with the exact same problems we had a year ago. Inexusable.

If I was the front office, I would consider moving Siakam to a contender and bringing in younger guys who are long athletic and can play defense.

  4. This team just feels different. Even with the same roster. I dont know what it is but I could feel it in preseason. If they arent rebounding and playing better D by trade deadline, you just have to assume the roster is incapable.

Hope they can figure it out. Woof

  5. Offensively pacers looked like they brand new to the team. Turner is our center. Rebounds will forever be a problem. It's early in the season. Players need to step up but coaching needs to be better. But oh well on to the next game. Pacers need to run more plays for mathurin. Don't understand how you have a dynamic scorer and he rarely has plays called for him or even iso.

  6. Not playing through Hali 90% of the time takes away what he is best at. It looks like they lost their identity from last year just to save some points on defense. Also, STOP JUMPING TO PASS! you learn that crap when you're 8!

  7. Free throws and turnovers…not a good came from Turner and need Tyrese to wake the h…up! He got $$$$$$…no confidence in his game and you can SEE it…and how it affects the team!

  8. Pacers looks terrible from strat this season, Tyrese loosing confidence, really sad watch this bad games, i think we need a new fresh mind coach 🤯

  9. First off in a beat yourself loss, yes Aaron Neismith deserves credit for almost digging us out of the 4Q hole all by himself. Like 5 plays in a row he was impactful down the line. His motor alone almost get us back in. Then there is the horrid ball handling by the point guards we rewarded with major contracts need to do their job and handle the ball when it is most important, 4Q – with game on the line! Missed free throws, not enough effort to collect (or design strategies) to get more rebounds, not enough stops while also finishing the play (second chance points by opponent). This team is starting to unravel when they need pace and confidence to work. We are not built to rebound with the players we have as of now. That is a design flaw. If they want this team to be playing well – with confidence and zip they need to likely not only get Ty scoring early (why they didn't do that game 2 beyond me) but also give him the ball more – even if it means managing him being doubled more. I agree Tony with you – it really seems to matter how many times he brings the ball up or not. We don't have the same pace it's very clear right now. That was a tough to watch game for sure…

  10. Losing Wiseman hurts because he was big and he rebounded. No starting backcourt in the NBA should have 0pts ever! Mathurin is a dog and he should be starting with Haliburton to get buckets. We also need a 6’9 scorer on the wing and get backup big in a trade.

  11. Myles Turner is the worst starting Center rebounder of all time … I get you say it’s a team thing but when you’re center is horrible at it the team is got to be horrible

  12. Just think, we aren't missing anyone but 76ers are missing Paul George and embid. That maxey is probably better than Paul George. Do we even stand a chance against 76ers if their healthy? Pacers were top offense in league last year and we still have the same team. What's the difference? Can you imagine dealing with embid and Drummond in the same game. That's going to be tough for all teams!

  13. We rarely seem to cut off drives to the basket. Our defenders are not in front of their man, but running beside them, and trying to catch up. It looks like a layup drill. This draws Myles away from defending and rebounding, allowing dump offs and put backs. On that note, we seem too short at wing. There's always a 6'8"-6'9" out reaching our 6'5"-6'6" guy.

  14. Guys are multitasking now. Team basketball sounds good but…Last season they were all mostly focused on getting open so Ty could find them. So now as they share, our best passer has it less, and the others are not open as much. Double snafu.
Ty's super power is playing with joy. Hard to play with joy when you don't have the ball, your guys are not getting open, and the D can focus on jamming you.

  15. Everyone needs to look in the mirror…ESPECIALLY THE PLAYERS!!! 😳😳😳

This team needs better players…better front office…AND BETTER COACH to be a championship contender!!!! 😳😳😳

  16. Tony, since Buddy left, Hali hasn't been the same deep threat, I think they need a 3pt assassin that puts fear into the other team. They are missing that imo.

  17. I’m slowly starting to believe that Sabonis might better than Hali because of his consistency
