This team would make their lives exponentially easier if they make their shots or get to the line so they can set the defense up. Honestly the one thing they can lean on is their half court defense. If the other teams play into that, it's basically a wrap. Also, if they are gonna do struggle ball for 23 and a half seconds but still end up with wack job turnovers or transition opportunities for the other team, I would rather see Herro, Terry or Duncan do a "Dame Time!" cosplay and chuck it from the logo instead, because their transition defense is pure garbage.
Have bam set a high screen, let if fly and automatically go down on d with bam to prevent the fast break. Let the other team lose 4 to 6 seconds securing the rebound and bringing the ball up the floor while the half court defense fortifies itself.
I know that it's easier said than done, but if the formula breaks right, they can go challenge for a top 3 seed.
