Overrated.
Why would you have Keldon in the last minutes?
Miscommunication on the FVV 3 between Keldon and Jeremy costs the Spurs – simple switch would've been the game plan I assume. Good fight from the young guys, crunch time execution will be the difference between what seed is achieved.

Sochan first offensive option and only option inside. Wembanyama seeking points bétons the 3 throw line (only 9 shoots inside). What is that?
Too many isolations and post ups, which led to too much dribbling and bad passes and too many turnovers, not enough picks to open up shooters, not enough pick and roll to get downhill, not enough drive and kicks to find the open shooter. Very clogged and turnover prone offense. He said too many turnovers, thats because we kept trying iso’s and postups, when it wasn’t working. With that said, missed a lot of open shots, and close shots, not enough reliability on shooting. Too much drop coverage on good three point shooters leading to open shots on defense. Need to get in good shooters faces and come over the screen and drive them towards wemby. Drop coverage has not worked for us for years from the three point line because we don’t have the size on the perimeter to close out on open three-point shots, or the size on help defense or back up center to help around the basket, which is why I assume why they play drop coverage. But while Wemby is in the game we should at least drive the good three-point shooters towards him and not just leave everyone open. Rockets just ran ball screens all game and take open three point shots. They made five more than us and that was the game. We could’ve won easily. Just need to make a few more shots and mix up our offense. Can’t iso every play, at least run a pick and roll and make the defenders make a choice, or swing the ball around and find a shooter, if no one is open, cut to the basket and start it all over again, wemby and collins and wesley and cp3 made some good passes at the end of the first half and beyond, just too big of a hole to dig out of without enough three point shooting. We needed an offensive spark, johnson and barnes played bad this game, it happens, why not bench them and try mamu, we know from last year mamu can play well with wemby and we won games that way. As bad as our defense is, you can’t tell me Mamu doesn’t deserve some minutes with his offensive abilities, wemby helps cover those up anyway and Mamu is 6’10” 6’11”. He can make threes reliably and he’s a good passer rebounder and cutter. Pop always sits here and acts like oh it’s no big deal or oh it happens, obviously the team is still rebuilding and doesn’t care about winning very much because offensively and defensively there are simple adjustments we can make to mix things up and be more successful, we literally did the same thing all game long and were not successful at it and we were bailed out by a few players like Sochan Branham and CP3. We clamped down in the second half and played much better with this should’ve been an easy win. Yes we missed a lot of shots but offensively we just continue to run isolation‘s and post ups and we didn’t run any plays and so we just kept turning the ball over because guys are trying to force things to happen instead of having picks set for them and honestly it was hard to watch the first half. We know the team doesn’t have the best defenders or three point shooters overall. But we can’t run isolation or post up every play. Unless it’s working. We don’t have a SGA like player just yet, maybe Castle will develop into that guy. We have to set some picks to get some shooters open in opportune places, if Wemby is getting pushed around, we have to set picks for him to get open under the basket, we have to run pick and roll with CP3 and Wemby or Wemby and Sochan, there’s so many options and we just played a pick up game tonight. You can tell Pop feels no pressure whatsoever. I can’t even tell if he wants to win yet. Lol. The Rockets ran plays on us all night and we just basically handed them the game by forcing isolations and turning the ball over and not adjusting until the very end and even then it wasn’t because Pop was calling plays it was because the guys were starting to make good cuts to the basket, we had plenty of points in the paint but we couldn’t get any open shooters and the ones we did get out of luck we just missed. I would’ve had Mamu in there instead of Johnson and Barnes who shot 0/6 from three combined and had 8 points, 0 blocks, and 0 steals combined.

man I don’t know, i’m starting to doubt pop, if you watch the other post game interviews they players don’t look happy and don’t seem to even care, why does pop always give these non chalant answers to losing games and not seeming to change anything, they have talent and it isn’t being utilized by their play style , I was at the game, why are they continuing to run a zone defense when shooters are constantly getting left wide open, if wemby is in the game they need to be in man coverage and if they get beat and I just think that leads to more blocks for wemby, players are not shooting the ball well at all and we have guys like minix and mamu that played extremely well this preseason and I know that’s different but why not even let them get 1 minute of playing time when yall need the shooting, I just don’t understand why their seems to be no sense of urgency or changing what’s not working when it’s very noticeable, makes me think there’s something more negative going on behind the scenes I hope pop can have some realizations or we’re gonna do just as well as last season
This is the second Hamed of the season with New players and still young team. What did you guys expect?? First half was full of mistakes and some of you are talking about the last few seconds!!
